Reviewer Guideline
1. General Principles
-
Lydia Business Review operates a double-blind peer review process. Authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
-
The main role of reviewers is to evaluate the scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, and contribution of the manuscript.
-
All evaluations must be objective, confidential, and constructive.
2. Ethical Responsibilities
-
Reviewers must not share any information obtained during the review process with third parties.
-
In case of any conflict of interest (collaboration with the author, institutional ties, personal relationship, etc.), the reviewer should decline the review.
-
Reports must focus solely on the academic content and avoid personal judgments.
3. Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers should assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:
-
Title and Abstract – Is the title clear and reflective of the content? Does the abstract cover the purpose, method, findings, and conclusions?
-
Originality and Contribution – Does the paper provide a novel contribution to the literature? Is the topic within the journal’s scope?
-
Literature Review – Is the review adequate and up to date? Does it highlight the research gap?
-
Methodology – Is the method appropriate, clear, and well explained? Are data collection and analysis processes sufficient?
-
Findings and Discussion – Are the findings consistent and valid? Is the discussion critical and comparative with the literature?
-
Conclusion and Implications – Are the conclusions consistent with the findings? Does the study contribute to theory or practice?
-
Writing and Format – Is the language clear and grammatically correct? Are tables, figures, and references in proper format?

The reviewer’s report should:
-
Provide clear, constructive, and detailed feedback.
-
Offer suggestions for improvement, not just criticism.
